A Family Room Designed for Comfort and Connection
For our client, redesigning the family room was an important step in making her new house feel like home. She wanted a warm, inviting space with generous seating for family and friends and an easy connection to the adjoining kitchen and dining area.
The room’s modest footprint and challenging layout required a creative approach. Removing the oversized fireplace and mantel gave us the flexibility to improve the flow and introduce asymmetrical custom built-ins designed specifically for the space. Seating, cabinetry, stonework and television placement were carefully planned to make the room both comfortable and highly functional.
Bespoke furnishings, custom textiles and layered details bring warmth, character and individuality to the space.
